Sarah Meets The Band Perry

March 25, 2016

Sarah was diagnosed with epilepsy when she was just a baby. After years of being symptom-free, she began experiencing seizures again requiring hospitalization and difficult diagnosis’ including Jeavon’s syndrome, a rare genetic form of Epilepsy. Wishing to see The Band Perry, Sarah and her family enjoyed a night off from health concerns and medicine, and were able to meet the band backstage.

“These last two years have been really hard on Sarah,” her mom said. “Music has really helped her through these rough times. Seeing Sarah sing, dance and laugh with her best friend and sister were a blessing. I haven’t seen her this happy in a few years! The Band Perry went above and beyond – I will never forget the smile on Sarah’s face and I wouldn’t have this memory if it wasn’t for the kindness from Do It For The Love Foundation. We appreciate all the love from everyone at Do It For The Love Foundation. Sarah is still talking about how amazing the concert was and how nice Kimberly, Neil and Reid were to her. Thank you for a unforgettable night of music, fun and lots of smiles!!!”

“I felt so exited when I went to The Band Perry concert I started dancing and singing like the concert kind of spirit,” said Sarah. “I love how we got back stage passes to meet the band. It was really fun I never had so much fun in my life. Thank you Do It For The Love Foundation for a night I will never forget!”
