Ramah Sees Keith Urban

November 5, 2015

“I was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma in the fall of 2014 and received 6 months of chemotherapy treatment followed by countless doctors appointments, blood tests, and scans. After experiencing the craziness that comes with having cancer, life is never the same. During my treatment sometimes even watching TV or a movie couldn’t distract me from all that was happening. I remember times that I would just lie on the couch listening to music because that would be the only thing that would give me an escape.

Music is such a powerful thing and can bring healing that nothing else can.  Once I received the tickets in the mail from DIFTL I remember just getting excited what would seem to be one of the best days of my life and I can now say that it definitely was one of my most favorite days.

I was so lucky to be able to bring 3 of my best friends with me to enjoy an amazing concert with Keith Urban. When we arrived at our seats we were just in awe how awesome our seats were and we knew it was just the beginning of a special night. Once Keith Urban got on stage we were all on our feet and dancing and singing the whole time. And then halfway through the concert he got off stage and started walking down the aisles. They set up a mini stage right in front of our row and were able to watch him preform right in front of us. That moment just put a cap on the best night ever for all of us.

We all felt so special to be able to enjoy such an amazing concert by one of our favorite artists. This experience definitely made us so grateful that even after 6 months of chemotherapy and major highs and lows, we were able to enjoy a fun night and be able to forget about all those things. We are grateful for every day that we have together and that we are slowly able to return to somewhat “normal” life.

I cannot thank DIFTL enough for providing the opportunity for my friends and I to totally let loose, dance, and sing to our favorite country artist.”
