Mason Meets Million Dollar Quartet

July 20, 2015

After Mason lived through a horrific car accident in 2008, music was what kept him going. His family surrounded him with music while he was in a coma for five months and as he’s recovered, he keeps on singing. Mason’s mother nominated him for a wish grant and we were thrilled to provide a special experience with Million Dollar Quartet for the family. We are grateful to the band and tour manager for going above and beyond to provide VIP access, a back-stage meeting with the band and great seats for the show.

“Thank you very much for making it possible for us to attend Million Dollar Quartet last week! Mason’s favorite part was the fantastic music, my daughter Bridget appreciated the talent and skill of the performers, my husband liked that the Wolftrap folks let him park the wheelchair van right out front and I thought the whole evening was simply perfect! What your organization does for families like ours is so special and kind. We never would have had this fabulous experience without your help. In the photos you can see Mason with the singers, the fellow on the right in the background is Sam the house manager. He escorted us to the sound check and was so careful about getting Mason a perfect seat for the show. TheĀ  production manager gave us t shirts, a bracelet, a pin and ear plugs too! Thank you again for a wonderful event, an evening we won’t soon forget!”
