Lyn Meets Michael Franti & Spearhead

October 2, 2016

Music is a huge source of inspiration for Lyn, a 57 year old Aussie mum and wife, who was diagnosed with a terminal brain tumor following a seizure. Lyn shared more details of her diagnosis, “To operate is too dangerous. I am at high risk of neurological damage or worse. In the meantime, music is my medicine and prescribed drugs to try to prevent seizures.”

Lyn and her husband shared an unforgettable VIP evening at the Michael Franti & Spearhead concert in Queensland, Australia. “I was transformed into a happy bubble surround by people I love. This shared experience of kindness, laughter, hugs, love, understanding, acceptance, music, meeting of beautiful people. The Do It For The Love Foundation blessed my family and I with the opportunity to meet personally with the man himself: Michael Franti. Thank you to everyone involved. You made me feel like part of an extended family and I just can’t express how happy i was (and still am) inside.”

Experiencing Michael Franti & Spearhead in concert helped Lyn take her mind off her diagnosis for the night and truly enjoy the moment. “His music inspires me and makes me feel very emotional, happy and sad. I’m sure my life has been extended because of the Do It For The Love Foundation. My love and appreciate goes out to you all.”
