Janice meets Lady Antebellum

September 5, 2017

Janice was diagnosed with early stage breast cancer 6 years ago and was successfully treated through chemo, radiation, and surgery. Unfortunately, during a routine scan last summer, the cancer had returned and progressed to stage IV, which is incurable. She recently completed another phase of treatment and was hoping to celebrate with an evening of music with her husband, who has been her dedicated caregiver, and her kids, who are scattered across the country. Do It For The Love was able to help out by sending them to see Lady Antebellum in Denver last month!

“I cannot thank you enough for the amazing experience you provided for me and my family at Fiddler’s Green Amphitheater in Denver, Colorado. We have memories that will last through eternity, well beyond our days on this Earth. As a stage IV breast cancer “thrivor,” I can honestly say that this was one of the best days of my life, and definitely the best I’ve had since my stage IV diagnosis in July 2016! We absolutely loved meeting Lady Antebellum, and the private VIP tent performance, as well as seeing their tour mates perform, Brett Young and Kelsea Ballerini. We cannot thank you enough! Again, my deepest appreciation for what you did for me, and continue to do for those with life-threatening illnesses. You are awesome!
