Jackson Sees Carrie Underwood

February 22, 2016

After experiencing the power of a musical wish grant, the first thing many of our recipients want to do is pay it forward. Sharing their experience and informing friends and family about the opportunities provided by Do It for the Love gives recipients a chance to make a difference for others who can benefit from the healing power of music.

Recently we sent nine-year-old Jackson to see Carrie Underwood in concert, where they were treated to VIP seats and access, thanks to the Greensboro Coliseum Complex. Jackson lives with cerebral palsy, among other health complications.

“Everyone was very helpful and very nice. The Gold Club was amazing and our seats were the best!” said Jackson’s mom. “Words can’t describe how we felt! It was breathtaking. The view, the show, everything was beyond perfect. We hope we can give back and have been able to share the Foundation with other families. We hope they will enjoy something like we did. We can’t thank you enough! He definitely had an experience he won’t forget!”
