Bertani’s Backyard Benefit Concerts Knock it Out of the Park

We recently received a wish grant request for 9 year old Isabella. “Isabella was diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer, on February 4, 2016. Bella was an avid dancer and ice skater. She has had to take a break from her favorite activities as she receives chemotherapy treatment every other week. She has also had an extensive surgery to remove her left clavicle.” In the midst of surgeries and chemotherapy, Isabella makes time to enjoy what she loves the most…performing! “Bella participated in her hometown’s talent show, singing “hallelujah” acapella- and she WON!”
“She is an inspiring girl who brings smiles to so many,” shared her Mom.
It was an honor to grant Isabella a VIP experience to the musical Wicked! What Isabella remembers most about the experience was “going back stage and getting my hand painted green by the green witch. It made me feel so special. I smiled the whole time! I will never forget! You have replaced some of my not-so-good memories with new amazing memories.”
Experiencing Wicked ultimately inspired Isabella to “continue in my school play. I hope someday to make a child feel as good when they listen to me sing like I did listening to Wicked! I can’t thank you enough.”
