Benjamin Sees Red Hot Chili Peppers

March 18, 2017

Benjamin was recently diagnosed with metastatic melanoma, an advanced, life limiting cancer. He had been working as an EMT and was training to become a firefighter when he was thrust into treatment. ¬†Benjamin’s colleague kindly nominated him in hopes of bringing “some much needed positivity and excitement” into his life.

We couldn’t have been more thrilled to grant Benjamin tickets to the Red Hot Chili Peppers concert in Seattle. “This concert gave me something to look forward to and be excited about. I was able to bring my wife and friends, helping create lasting memories that we’ll all share. It was a very special feeling to have something positive to share with everyone, especially after all the tough times we’ve gone through. This was a rare experience that I am going to always appreciate.”

Benjamin left the concert “overtaken with the energy of the event.” Ultimately, “I loved this experience, and I love that I was able to share it with people close to me.”
